Home!

So, Mexico was great. The mosquitos were atrocious. I look like I have chicken Pox again. Was worried that they wouldn't let me on the plane because I looked like I had some funky disease.... =)

First flight was kinda scary, cried on take-off...big wuss I am. I have mass pictures. 11 rolls of 35 mm film and 2 128mb cards for my digital camera. I have a journal I will upload tonight...

Bye Bye Wisdom

Well, had my last 3 wisdom teeth pulled. Told my dentist that he HAD to put me out for this one. So I get there, wait 20 minutes past my appt time. They take me back in this little room, hook me up to a blood pressure machine, put the little heart rate monitor on my finger...Not much fun...then they put this clamp/monitor on my left ankle, right and left wrists. So then they gave me laughing gas. To "relax" me...uh huh..then they put the IV in...told me I would hear some snap, cracks...and 23 minutes later, I was less 3 teeth...Yippee. So now we shall see how I look tomorrow.
Nothing new to report. Life is going good I guess. Going to Mexico in 19 days. Haven't told my boss yet. Kinda scared to.

5 Days until Christmas

The whole politically correct thing with Christmas not allowed to be advertised in the stores is getting old. If everyone wants to take Christ out of the holidays, I will quit buying my Christmas presents at their stores. It doesn't matter to me one way or the other about what the reasoning behind it is. But the holiday has been around longer than I have, I am not about to change my traditions because of someone's idea of what should and shouldn't be in ads.

On to happier subjects. Ellie is growing and getting so smart and knowledgeable. It is amazing what a person can learn. We are going to my mom's for Christmas Eve and Christmas day. In between all of that, we will be stopping by the in-laws and my dad's. Mostly, I am looking forward to having the time off and hopefully can relax!
